Catapult Your Business Motivation in 20 Minutes or Less

I came across a powerful video today.  And I am convinced that after 20 minutes you will learn a lot about human and business motivation.

Business Motivation at It’s Best

If you’ve ever read any personal development or self growth books you know that Anthony Robbins is perhaps the most influential transformational success coach in the personal development field.   He’s one of my favorite speakers, and I’m always fascinated with his deep knowledge of human psychology and motivation.

When it comes to motivation, there are two types of motivating factors (intrinsic and extrinsic). Intrinsic motivation is the motivation that comes from within you and extrinsic motivation is the motivation that comes from outside.  The video below will be an extrinsic motivator for you.

But before we get to the 20 transformational minutes you’re about to experience, let’s mention that intrinsic motivation (motivation that comes from within you) is most powerful.

When you are passionate about your business, for instance, you will go enormous lengths to do whatever it takes to reach your business goals.  On the contrary, if you’re in the business you are in because it looks good on paper, but don’t have the passion for it, your motivators will be far fewer than if you were passionate.  Those who are not so passionate about business just go through the motions with their online and offline marketing, management etc..

So let’s get motivated!

The quote by Carlos Castaneda below alludes to the power of intrinsic motivation.

“The trick is in what one emphasizes. We either make ourselves miserable, or we make ourselves strong. The amount of work is the same. “- Carlos Castaneda

When you come across a challenging moment in your business, do you look for the positive or do you focus on the “problem?”  If you focus on the growth experience and welcome the challenge, as opposed to complain about the problem, you make the best of the experience and learn from it to catapult you to greatness.  Our outlook or “mindset” is shaped by the internal motivators that come in the form of your thoughts, patterns/habits, and collective experiences.  Anthony Robbins is the master in this field.

A Few Critical Small Business Motivation Questions:

Focus on learning how you operate.

  1. What motivates you?
  2. What are your thought patterns?
  3. What will you focus on instead?

At the end of the video you will find Tony Robbins mentioning something super powerful:

“Imagine if your beliefs guarantee you can never get to where you want to go?” – Anthony Robbins

In that case it wouldn’t matter what encouragement others gave you if you yourself did not believe you were capable of grandiose success!

So in short, explore the web in your mind as well including the needs beliefs and emotions that are controlling you so that you can succeed.  Robbins mentions that when we do we can give more and appreciate what drives other people.

If you’re new to personal development, Robins will help turbocharge the motivation you have for yourself and your business.  He’ll set you on fire.

Happy Motivation Monday!

P.S.  Go on and watch the 20 minute video.  Anthony Robbins is at the TED conference and delivers a home run on human psychology here.

We want to hear from you!

Tell us how this will change your level of motivation in your small business!

  1. I have always loved Tony Robbins. In fact, I think I need to revisit some of the courses I have bought over the years. I bet they are as good now as they ever were.
