What is Twit Pwr?

- Shortens the URL (Twitter link)
- Provides Analytics Statistics (tells you where your clicks are coming from and how popular they are)
- Serves as a form of Viral Marketing – Provides ways to bring you more followers & traffic to your blog or website by simply using it
How Exactly Does this Twitter Tool Work?
Every time you shorten a link with this service it creates a banner on top of the browser with your twitter username and some other details.
With every URL you shorten and referral you make you begin accruing a “twitter ranking.” Your referral link is in the top right corner; your user name is on the top left hand corner. It will tell the person who clicks on your Twitter URL that you created that link with Twit Pwr – your name gets out there.
You get extra credit and power rating when someone creates their own twitter power link from that referral link on the right. The extra power rating you get for the referral traffic helps generate more traffic to your twitter profile (because people will want to know who created the link).
When you or someone clicks on your twitter username, it will show your recent tweets and the stats for your particular link (s) i.e. how many tweeps – ehm…twitter users – have clicked on your link.
You will also note there will be a profile synopsis that shows your recent tweets. On the right of that profile snapshot there’s all the links you created on twitter. And voila – Twitter visibility.
On the Twit Pwr home page you will see the current top 25 users on Twit Pwr and can view their profiles as well. In the center there are “Hot URLs” the popular links on twitter. So if you create a popular link it could appear on the home page. Now don’t worry for those of you who don’t create popular links because Twit Pwr also features recent links on the right of the home page.

Interesting tool, Dali. But don’t you think that number one on the list of what Twit Pwr does should be that it displays prominent promotional links for Joel Comm’s products?
Clever of him. But from my standpoint the benefit to Joel when I use the tool is much greater than the benefit to me or to anyone else. Thanks but no thanks.
